Bamboo Lyocell

What is Bamboo Lyocell?

Bamboo Plant

Bamboo is recognized as one of the most sustainable resources on the planet, due to its rapid growth of up to four feet per day, remarkable ability to absorb five times more carbon dioxide, and produce 35% more oxygen compared to typical hardwood trees.

Not only does growing bamboo enhance soil quality, but it also aids in the restoration of eroded soil by using its expansive root system to bind the topsoil, thus boosting the hydrological functions of forest ecosystems.

Moreover, after harvesting, bamboo quickly regenerates itself, continually sprouting new shoots from its vast root network.

Additionally, bamboo is an eco-friendly crop that requires minimal water, no fertilizers, and no pesticides to thrive

The Lyocell Production Process

Lyocell is a highly advanced method of producing cellulose-based fabric, which involves converting wood into textile fibers. Unlike its predecessors, Viscose and Modal, Lyocell is much more efficient, generates less waste, and results in a product that is less synthetic.

Bamboo Lyocell fabric is produced using a closed-loop technique that employs a non-toxic solvent known as amine oxide, which breaks down bamboo pulp. This technique allows for the recovery and reuse of 99% of the solvent and water used in the manufacturing process, drastically reducing water consumption. Additionally, leftover waste is minimal and poses no threat to the environment.

One of the most remarkable features of Bamboo Lyocell clothing is its lightweight, non-creasing, and ultra-soft texture, providing a luxurious wearing experience.

As Bamboo Lyocell clothing is predominantly made from organic materials, it is biodegradable, with a decomposition rate of just eight days. This stands in stark contrast to chemically produced Viscose or synthetic fabrics like Polyester, which can take hundreds of years to decompose and often contribute to pollution.

Investing in Bamboo Lyocell clothing is a sustainable and eco-friendly choice that not only helps to reduce environmental impact but also offers excellent comfort and style. So why not make the switch to Bamboo Lyocell clothing today and experience the difference for yourself?

How Bamboo Lyocell is Eco-friendly

Bamboo Lyocell is the fabric that not only looks good but is also good for the environment. Bamboo cultivation requires far less water and no pesticides or fertilizers. Additionally, the manufacturing process of Lyocell is completely closed-looped, which means it uses a non-toxic solvent, and reduces the amount of waste produced by using energy and water efficiently.
